     The University of North Dakota has a faculty, staff and student population of approximately 13,000.  Grand Forks, ND-East Grand Forks, MN is a community of 60,000 located in one of the richest agricultural areas in the United States. 
     While this community is a wonderful place to live, work and study, none of us can ever forget that personal safety and property security always begin with the individual.  Each of us must do all we can to protect ourselves and our property.
